Our affiliation with the World Tang Soo Do Association means every rank earned at Dragon's Den is recognized internationally, giving students a credential that follows them anywhere in the world.

What Is Tang Soo Do and How Is It Different from Other Martial Arts?

Tang Soo Do is a traditional Korean martial art that traces its roots to ancient Korean fighting techniques blended with influences from Chinese and Okinawan disciplines. Unlike sport-focused martial arts such as Taekwondo or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Tang Soo Do emphasizes the complete development of the practitioner through forms, self-defense techniques, sparring, and one-step drills. Students learn powerful hand strikes, precise kicks, joint locks, and sweeps within a structured curriculum that prioritizes discipline and respect. The World Tang Soo Do Association maintains a standardized curriculum practiced in studios across more than 30 countries, ensuring consistent quality regardless of location. At Dragon's Den, we follow this curriculum exactly, which means students who relocate can continue their training and rank progression at any affiliated school worldwide without starting over.

Who Are the Instructors at Dragon's Den?

Her competition background gives students at Dragon's Den a direct line to current tournament-level technique and preparation. Both instructors are registered members of the World Tang Soo Do Association and maintain active training and certification.
